Pricing
Prices shown on our online shop and services calculator are indicative guides only. African Vanilla Consulting (Pty) Ltd is not registered for VAT, so VAT is not charged on our invoices. Final pricing, scope, and deliverables are confirmed in a written quote or proposal. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before acceptance.
Payment
Payment terms are as agreed on your quote or invoice — typically upon acceptance, milestone, or monthly in arrears for recurring services. Late payment may attract interest or suspension of services as set out in your agreement.
Performance and delivery
We operate primarily on a remote-first basis. On-site work is available by appointment where agreed in scope. Timelines, milestones, and acceptance criteria are defined in the applicable SOW or service agreement. You agree to provide reasonable access, information, and cooperation needed for us to perform the services.
Cooling-off period (ECTA section 44)
Where ECTA applies to a transaction concluded electronically, you may have a seven (7) business day cooling-off period to cancel without penalty, unless an exception applies — for example, where the service has been fully performed with your prior express agreement, or where the law provides otherwise. To exercise cooling-off rights, contact us at enquiries@africanvanilla.co.za within the applicable period.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about our services or these terms, please email enquiries@africanvanilla.co.za. We aim to acknowledge complaints within five (5) business days and to resolve them fairly and promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the matter to the relevant industry ombudsman or consumer protection body where applicable, or pursue other remedies available under South African law.
Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy & POPIA Notice.
These terms are effective from August 2026 and may be updated from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
